Vatican City State Legal Research Guide

The purpose of this guide is to assist researchers in their search for information on the structure and organization of the temporal law of the Vatican City State (VCS).

Internet Resources

Although most of the official sites for the are primarily devoted to disseminating information from and about the Holy See, rather than the VCS, there are some resources out there that can assist in researching the laws of the VCS.  In addition, the Vatican website does contain the text (in html not pdf format) of selected papal documents dating back to Pope Leo XIII (1878), and should therefore be considered a potential source for the text of apostolic constitutions and motu proprios that apply to the VCS.
