Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR)
Maryland State agency regulations are compiled in the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR). COMAR contains 36 titles; each title corresponds to a department or agency. COMAR is updated biweekly corresponding with the effective dates in the most current Maryland Register issue. The printed version of COMAR is the official and enforceable text.
Maryland Register
The Maryland Register is published every two weeks. Any change to the text of regulations published in COMAR must first be published in the Register.
