The Law Library is restricted to the following patrons during the reading and exam period, December 3 – 19:

  • CUA law students, faculty, and staff
  • CUA Law alumni *

A door guard will be posted inside the law library entrance 6:30pm - 1:30am Monday - Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday during the reading and exam period. Anyone who enters the law library must present his/her CUA I.D. to the door guard.

The purpose of the restricted access policy is to provide a quiet, stress-free study environment for CUA Law students.  CUA Law students: please help us to enforce this policy by carrying your CUA I.D. with you at all times.

CUA Law students: If your CUA I.D. is not working, please go to Room 242 in the Pryz or email If you don't have a red LAW sticker on the front of your I.D., please stop by the Circulation Desk.

*CUA Law alumni may use the law library only when a reference librarian is on duty. Reference Librarians are available:

Monday - Thursday 9am - 7pm
Friday 9am - 5pm
Sunday 11am - 7pm

The Law Library reserves the right to request identification from any person at any time.
