Hearings

Committee hearings can be one of the most elusive Congressional documents to locate. The time between the event and its publication can be months or even years. Before the hearing is officially printed, you may be able to obtain hearing materials from the committee itself.

House Committee List
Hearing materials are sometimes available from the committee, usually for the past few years.
Senate Committee List
Hearing materials are sometimes available from the committee, usually for the past few years.
GovInfo: Congressional Hearings
Browsable list of Congressional hearings going back to the 99th Congress (1985-1986). Not all congressional hearings are available on GovInfo. Whether or not a hearing is disseminated on GovInfo depends on the committee. GPO continues to add hearings as they become available during each session of Congress. If a congressional hearing is not listed in GovInfo, it is not available electronically via GPO at this time.
